McRib Locator finds McDonalds Sandwich in 2010

Having trouble locating your favorite McDonald’s sandwich, the McRib?  The McRib locator exists to help people find a popular sandwich which may be extinct at McDonald’s.  that is of course the McRib Sandwich, which is a boneless pork creation, and has lead to fan pages on Facebook demanding that McD’s brings back the McRib.

according to Wall Street Journal, starting November 2nd, various McDonald’s across the United States will offer the McRib sandwhich but only for six weeks.  then the gig’s up.  The President of McD’s USA says it doesn’t sell well enough year long to generate sales.  still there are a reported 300 groups on Facebook devoted to bringing it back.so how’d the McRib Locator come about?  It’s the brainchild of a 28-year-old meteorologist named Alan Klein.  He’s apparently obsessed with the McRib and devloped the helpful online tool to help others locate their favorite sandwich.  he cited that when he had moved to Minnesota for college he had trouble finding the Mcrib sandwich, but then saw them again when visiting South Dakota. The McRib Locator here was “temporarily unavailable” upon last check.  It may be experiencing high traffic as McRib fans frantically try to get a grasp of where to get the sandwich soon!  now how long before McD’s has the return of the “McDLT” and a McDLT locator develops or the official Lobster Sandwich locator?
