American Idol`s Kris Allen to see Haiti aid effort firsthand
American Idol winner Kris Allen is travelling to Haiti to see how the aid effort is benefiting the country.

Allen, 24, will be showing footage of his trip to the country, which was recently left devastated by an earthquake, when he returns to the Idol results show.
In a statement, he said to MTV: ‘I’m looking forward to travelling to Haiti to see the UN’s work firsthand. the people of Haiti are rebuilding their country, and the UN is there to help them every step of the way.
‘I look forward to sharing the images and stories from my trip with Idol viewers across the country.’
