I'm going to write a movie but I have 2 problems. I don't know how to write a script and I don't know what a good topic is for my movie. I really really need your help! I need an awesome answer by 6th May 2011! Hurry!

Rule 1. young padawan have fun – write a script about something or character that interest you. Now I'm no expert but I do know what I like – I think a good script, movie or book keeps us interested because we anticipate or wnat to know whats going to happen – so don't just plod through a predictable series of things – keep it interesting so the viewer is asking themselves things like what happens when they meet? or when will he find this out? or how will she overcome this challenge?
here is a link to some free scriptwriting software – you can download completely legal – it may take some time getting used to it
http://celtx.com/
this other weblink is to a great site called the internet Movie Script Database – it has a heap of scripts on it so you can see examples of other peoples scripts
http://www.imsdb.com/

also note – that there are 2 kinds of scripts -the shooting script has a lot of info about camera shots etc.. closeups, pans over the city and so on – don't worry about this stuff unless you are planning on shooting your own script – any director that reads a script will want to make their own decisions about how to shoot it – so just stick to dialogue etc.. don't explain how the camera captures it

also check Amazon – there are a lot of books out there about script writing some are pretty basic or about formula script writing but you'll get something out of them – so check the reviews etc…

A scriptwriter called William Goldman has written a couple of brilliant books about scriptwriting which I would highly recommend
