However, two deluxe editions of Telephantism will be released September 28. there will be a three-disc set featuring two bonus discs of hits, rarities, b-sides, live versions and more, along with a DVD compiling every Soundgarden music video. the “super deluxe edition” adds three vinyl records and special packaging.
Spin reports that Chris Cornell recently recorded new vocals to flesh out “Black Rain,” and producer/engineer Adam Kasper says, “What’s amazing is Chris recorded new vocal bits, and his voice still hits all those notes. You can’t tell which vocals are from 20 years ago and which are from today.”
The reunited Rock band will play Lollapalooza this weekend, as well as a special warm-up gig on Thursday night at the Vic Theatre in Chicago.
