Looking at his website he seems to be more of a policy wonk type. I don't see the usual banal bleating about traditional values, instead I see a lot of writing about transit issue.

He's still a moron for having this conversation in the same building with live microphones, but I don't think he's as big a hypocrite as the family values drones who've been caught fooling around.
