If you haven’t heard about SOPA or PIPA yet, you need to learn about it. obviously you are using the internet right now and you’ve come to this site to enjoy our content. since you are using the internet, it’s important that you know what the government is trying to do to censor the internet.

In a nutshell, SOPA and PIPA give the government rights to shut down sites without due process for infringing on copyrights. Sites like Pirate Bay and numerous other torrent sites are the target for these new laws, but like any laws, they hurt the innocent more than the criminal.

Today several websites are getting together to spread the word and inform YOU how damaging these new laws could be if they are passed. the internet as we know it today would cease to exists. Sites like Facebook could get taken down if you posted a picture of a movie poster. Oh and since you are here, imagine if thebitbag.com got taken down for posting a trailer they took off of a studios website? Watch this video below and contact your local congressman and raise hell!

There is a growing movement against SOPA and PIPA in the gaming community where different developers, content creators and journalists are boycotting E3 in protest of the ESA supporting SOPA and PIPA.
