Sending robots into the past sounds like science fiction. It’s the basis of “Terminator” and other movie plots. But now, something called a stereo-photogrammetry robot is helping a 3,000-year-old city come …

Vikings @ Jets Preview

Tonight the new York Jets will face the Minnesota Vikings at home in the new Meadowlands Stadium. the new York Jets look to continue their success as they enter into the game 3-1.

Look for the new York Jets to continue in their passing game. Mark Sanchez is looking like a veteran out there with what he has shown the past three games, the past three wins. Sanchez has eight touchdowns and zero interceptions so far this season. That’s an awfully good start considering his twenty interceptions last year. the Jets tonight will look to pass the football more than run it. with Santonio Holmes coming back after his four game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, Mark Sanchez has a new weapon to work with. Also look for Sanchez to continue his success with Dustin Keller. Keller has built a lot of chemistry with Mark Sanchez throughout the entire year and offseason. They both are showing every game they can make big plays and win football games. Sanchez has seen and gotten Keller the ball in the end zone. That will continue tonight. Look for Mark Sanchez and Dustin Keller to hook up and find each other for big gains.

Besides Dustin Keller, Mark Sanchez gets a new weapon this week. Santonio Holmes is coming back from  his four game suspension. It is a question whether how much Santonio will be a factor in the offense with his first game back, but he will still have the opportunity to get open with his fast speed and make huge plays that can put the football on the other side of the football field.

The Jets running game must have success tonight. the Vikings have a very good run defense. there two big playmakers on defense his Kevin and Mike Williams. Matt Slausen may struggle against them tonight. Therefore, the Jets will look to run the ball with both Ladanian Tomlinson and Shonn Greene. Mark Sanchez passing the ball will open up room for the Jets to run the football against the Vikings.

The Jets defense will have a play day against the Vikings. the new York Jets get the best Cornerback in the NFL back with them tonight, Darrelle Revis. Randy Moss who was traded to the Vikings earlier in the week will have Revis locked up right on his. Darrelle is coming back from a hamstring injury but has looked well in practice. Randy Moss will not be getting passed Revis Island tonight. Look for Darrelle Revis to get quiet a few opportunities from Brett Favre. Revis Island can easily get at least two interceptions plus in this game against the Vikings.

You could also see Antonio Cromartie going up against Moss. Cromartie shut down Moss in the second half when Revis went down versus the Patriots. Also, look for Favre to pick on new rookie Cornerback, Kyle Wilson. This will give Kyle to make plays and have opportunities to get interceptions. Kyle will have to go back on fourth with covering the speedy Percy Harvin, and Bernard Berrian. We’ll see if Kyle Wilson can get his first interception of his NFL career.

The Jets will also have to stop Adrian Peterson. Peterson is arguably the best running back in the National Football League. with the Jets great Linebackers and others on their defense, they should be able to shut down Adrian Peterson and force Brett Favre to throw the football.

Besides all of this, the Vikings may have distractions facing them. Brett Favre who two years ago came to the new York Jets is under investigation with the National Football League for sending harassing and harmful texts to females working for the Jets during the times. He also tried to pursue two female massage therapists working for the Jets part-time. the NFL is under investigation with this matter. “We’re trying to find out all the facts around it, and then once we determine those facts, then we’ll determine what the next step is from there, if any,” en quote from Roger Goodell, NFL commissioner. Favre apologized to his teammates today for any distractions and said he would play lights out against the Jets tonight.

Well…good luck Favre, but it’s time to beat you badly for the harmful year and disrespect that you gave the new York Jets, and how you treated teammates and used the Jets to get to the Vikings.
