On the Oprah Winfrey show Wednesday, four women who testified against convicted evangelical minister Tony Alamo at his 2009 federal trail told the talk show host that they were forced to live as his child brides.

Jeanne, now 31, Amy, 26, Desiree, 18, and Nikki, 26 described living with Alamo as his “spiritual wives” in the 1990s at his church’s compound in Texarkana, Ark. the women, who did not provide their last names, ranged in age from 8 to 15 when they say Alamo forced them into sexual relationships.

Alamo, 75, was found guilty of transporting minors across state lines with an intent to have sex. he is currently serving 175 years in prison.

In 2008, CNN interviewed a defiant Alamo as federal agents were in the process of raiding his church.
