We have a video which promotes the Samsung Omnia 2 smartphone and the inclusion of the fast typing Swype which enables the user to send text messages faster than before.

The video last only 30 seconds but during that time we see a person using Swype on the Samsung Omnia 2 smartphone and before the video ends the narrator announces that during making the video they actually broke the Guinness World Record for texting.

Apparently they beat the Guinness World Record with a whole five seconds to spare. now I’m not too sure what the world record is for texting, but watching the video it does look like Swype is extremely fast.
