Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s presence in the audience for Monday night’s season premiere of “Dancing with the Stars” has security in the Los Angeles studio where the show is taped on high alert, TMZ reported.

Palin’s daughter Bristol is among the stars tapped for the 11th season of “Dancing,” along with singer Michael Bolton and “Jersey Shore” star Mike “the Situation” Sorrentino.

Sources at CBS Television City studios, where the show is taped, told TMZ that security guards were on “heightened alert” for the taping.

Guards will make random stop and searches on cars and audience members upon entry. the “Dancing with the stars” studio has a permanent metal detector in place as well.

Guards were reportedly told that in the event of a security breach, Sarah Palin is a “higher priority than Bristol.”

Bristol Palin will dance to the song “Mama told Me not to come,” written by Randy Newman and popularized by the band three Dog Night in 1970, with partner Mike Ballas on the season premiere.
