Fuller, Lawrence, Neal, Shepherd and More to Join Off-Broadway's Love, Loss …

Additional casting has been announced for Nora and Delia Ephron’s Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which features a rotating company at the Westside Theatre.
Penny Fuller (The Elephant Man), Diane Neal (“Law & Order: SVU”), Daytime Emmy Award winner Sherri Shepherd (“The View”) and Cobie Smulders (“How I Met your Mother”) will join the cast may 26 and play through June 27.
Sharon Lawrence (“NYPD Blue”) and Myra Lucretia Taylor (Nine) will be part of the July cast (June 30-July 25). The current cast, which includes Anna Chlumsky, Julie Halston, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Doris Roberts and Brooke Shields, continues through may 23.
Tickets for the production are now on sale through Aug. 29; additional casting will be announced shortly.
The Ephrons penned the play based on Ilene Beckerman’s book of the same name that “uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to.” Karen Carpenter directs.
The design team includes Jo Winiarski (scenic design), Jessica Jahn (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Walter Trarbach (sound design) and Maria Verel (make-up design).
Carpenter also directed the Monday night readings of Love, Loss, and What I Wore that were presented this past winter and spring as a benefit for Dress for Success. a portion of the proceeds from the current run will benefit Dress for Success.
